Who we are

Srijon is a social and cultural organisation based in London, dedicated to preserving, promoting and celebrating Bengali art, culture and heritage. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with this website.

What we collect

This website does not use analytics, tracking cookies or advertising of any kind, and it has no sign-up or contact form. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us directly — for example, by emailing contact@srijon.org or messaging our Facebook page. This might include your name, email address and whatever you write to us.

How we use it

We use the information you send us only to reply to your enquiry, or to organise your involvement in a Srijon event or activity you've contacted us about. We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Web fonts

This site loads typefaces (Lora, Karla, Noto Serif Bengali, Noto Sans Bengali) from Google's font-hosting service. Loading a font this way means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may log your IP address as part of delivering the file. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-party links

Pages on this site link out to Eventbrite (for event tickets) and Facebook. These are independent services with their own privacy policies — once you follow a link, that service's policy applies rather than ours.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence only for as long as it's needed to respond to you or for our own reasonable records, and delete it when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact contact@srijon.org for any of this.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
